End of Year letter from Pr Kelly

Dear AMI Family, I hope the end of this year finds you healthy, thankful, and trusting the Lord. We at Advent Mission Institute are thankful for all of you. I would like to rejoice with you in the progress we have made: July 1–AMI Launches August 4–Toni Minikus joins AMI as the first full-time employee August–Obtained 501(c)3, non-profit approved In miracle time October 18–Open house, God held off the rain–torrential rain! October thru November–Six building/zoning meetings in record time November 16–Ground breaking December 9–Dirt work and site preparation It would be hard for things to move at a faster pace. The efficiency and success that we have met thus far are the direct blessing of God. Now we are moving towards our grand opening, August 20-22, 2026, in Berrien Springs where we will offer a one day Educational Summit in front of our Religious Liberty Symposium. You are invited, but we need you to RSVP. (Call: 269-471-7678 or Email: [email protected]) We are anticipating a large attendance. We have had a slight change in scheduling: the Amish will be coming in February, about a month later than originally anticipated, but by March the shell of the new building should be erected. This is also God’s provision, as it gives us time to put in our first retention wall which must be completed before the Amish group arrives. As we come to the end of the year, we have a $50,000 gift for matching funds. Thank you for everything God has used you to do in the past year; I know that by God’s grace we will finish the year strong, financially. Your prayers and support have been such a blessing to Collene and me as we faced this very challenging year. God has been very good to us and your encouragement has made the difference. There is much work to be done and God is raising up AMI to strengthen the churches of God’s remnant people. In Testimonies Volume 6, p. 440, our marching orders are given: “A great work must be done all through the world, and let no one conclude that because the end is near there is no need of special effort to build up the various institutions as the cause shall demand.... When the Lord shall bid us make no further effort to build meetinghouses and establish schools, sanitariums, and publishing institutions, it will be time for us to fold our hands and let the Lord close up the work, but now is our opportunity to show our zeal for God and our love for humanity.” Thank you again for your partnership and may God help us meet our $50,000 matching gift donation. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and happy New Year. Pr. Ron Kelly

Transformational Trip: Luther’s Germany

Pr. Ron Kelly and Andrew von Maur will be leading a nine-day trip (plus travel) to Germany, October 25–November 5, 2026. Andrew von Maur, born and raised in Germany, has led study tours for over twenty years. He set up the itinerary for this trip with much more than site-seeing in mind. There will be suggested chapters from the Spirit of Prophecy, sent to participants ahead of the trip, providing context for the tour to build upon. Destinations connected with Martin Luther’s life will be explored, and a portion of each day will be reserved for personal reflection and a group discussion led by Pr. Kelly. The practical applications gained will literally change one’s life. The first destination will be the village where Martin Luther was born and died. Other locations include Erfurt, Wittenburg, Wartburg, Eisenach, Marburg, and Worms, tracing the entire life of Martin Luther. Participants will see firsthand the culture that shaped Luther’s life, still visible in the well-preserved “old town” sections of Germany, and will be challenged to ponder how today’s culture has shaped their worldview. October 31st, the date of Luther’s nailing of the 95 theses, will be spent in Wittenberg, itself. The entire group will participate in an outreach activity, interacting with the mostly secular locals who will be in attendance at the annual Reformation Festival. The Requirements for participating in this trip are as follows: Each participant will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to Frankfurt, where everyone will meet at a date/time to be determined. Each participant must be able to carry all their own luggage for extended walks (at least three blocks at a time). Due to the historical nature of this trip, many buildings will not have elevators and participants must be able to use stairs. Save the date! Cost and trip details will be communicated soon.
