Prophecy Tour
Pr. Kelly will be co-hosting a trip to Greece, in partnership with Living Stone Journeys (LSJ), to explore Bible prophecy on location.
Living Stone Journeys is being launched by Andrew von Maur, Ariel Solis, Nathan Bolkovic and Aron Balorda. Their team has a combined 21 years of experience as travel guides. However, the trips will be more than mere sight-seeing. Bible studies and discussions that apply what is seen and learned are intentionally designed to transform one’s thinking and therefore one’s life.
This first trip, “A Greek Journey,” explores the trials and triumphs of the lives of Paul and John and the prophecies they were given. Sabbath will be spent on the Isle of Patmos. Other locations such as the Acropolis, Mars Hill, and ancient Corinth are included in the itinerary. By experiencing biblical sites, through prayer and deep study of Scripture, participants will deepen their understanding of the prophecies, the early Church’s resilience and faith, and the gospel.
There are spaces still available on this trip, coming up soon, June 1-12. See the LSJ website for a video description, detailed information, and registration:

Pr. Kelly and Andrew von Maur will partner for another transformational trip, “Luther’s Germany,” October 25-November 5. Participants on this trip will spend Sabbath in Wittenberg on the anniversary of the nailing of the 95 Theses and trace Luther’s legacy from birth to death. Registration for this opportunity opens soon.
AMI Appoints a Medical Director
AMI Health is blessed to invite Dr. Allen Hoffman, MD, MPH, to the team as Medical Director of AMIs Gospel Medical Missionary work.
Doctor Hoffman comes to AMI from Dayton, Ohio where he works full time for a private firm as an Aerospace Medicine and Occupational Medicine Physician. He also volunteers as a Red Cross physician at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and operates a private concierge medical practice for patients preferring holistic health.
Dr. Hoffman obtained his Master of Public Health from the University of West Florida and graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Medicine in 2002. He retired from the US Navy after twenty-two years of service in a variety of positions. During his years in the Navy he lived in Japan for four years, was stationed on aircraft carriers for six years, and served as Branch Head of Aerospace Medicine at the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery from 2018-2022. As an operational physician in the Navy, he has been integrally involved in human performance optimization (the “Navy version” of health and lifestyle medicine, optimizing the body in adverse environments to improve physiological margins).
Raised in an Adventist home in New Jersey, Dr. Hoffman found himself turning to the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy to find counsel for patients in the Navy who were looking for holistic health solutions. He is convinced that the health message is a central component of the Third Angel’s Messages.
As he transitions out of his full-time position in Dayton, Dr. Hoffman will be commuting back-and-forth to Berrien Springs to participate in plans for AMI Health. One day, hopefully soon, he will serve full time at the AMI sanitarium and be able to settle here more permanently.
When he is not working with patients or serving at his home church, Beavercreek SDA, Dr. Hoffman enjoys researching and growing medicinal herbs. He is enthusiastic about combining this passion with the agricultural endeavors of AMI. Dr. Hoffman also appreciates classic car restoration, landscaping, and soccer.
“Snow-maggedon” Delays Construction
No doubt you have seen news reports of the winter storm that stretched across half of the United States leaving behind inches of ice and feet of snow. Some newscasters dubbed the storm: “Snowmaggedon.”
We quit counting the inches of snow; it measures in feet now. And windchills fell to -25F. (To our friends in more Northern climates this will seem laughable; but to Berrien Springs, in a growing zone of 6-7, it was dramatic!) The blizzard added more meaning to the injunction of Jesus: “Pray that your flight be not in winter...”
It will come as no surprise that the “Sand Brigade” described in the last newsletter was postponed. When the wind subsides long enough to fire up the bulldozer and clear the snow, we will reschedule with the gravel yard to pick up our 2,730-tons of sand (hopefully they haven’t used it all on the icy roads!).
