Get In on the Ground Floor of AMI

Autumn marks an important milestone in the AMI journey. Just four months after the founding of AMI, the first permanent structure will be raised on our 78-acre campus! None too soon, as various ministries are already underway and in need of sheltered space. This Multipurpose Building will fulfill the immediate need of office space, an auditorium to seat nearly 500, a partial second story for equipment storage, and two covered porticos for outdoor gatherings. The design team have been hard at work, elevating a simple pole-barn structure into what will soon be a polished, versatile building, ideal for the growing ministry. Efficient, cost effective, and able to be erected one pole at a time as funds come in, this building style seems quite fitting for the AMI ministry. After all, many wonderful ministries were born in a barn! The auditorium will facilitate live-streamed and in-person events, such as church renewal seminars, religious liberty events, medical missionary training, and other gatherings to strengthen discipleship and mission. It should be stated that it will not host Sabbath morning church services. As ministries outgrow the Multipurpose building, permanent dwellings will be constructed for them, as laid out in the masterplan. And the empty Multipurpose Building will revert to its originally planned use as the Trades Building. Michigan’s notorious winter is just around the corner, and we are eager to pour the floor before snowfall. If you would like to be “in on the ground floor” of the AMI ministry by contributing funds, this is your opportunity!

Upcoming Events

Come see for yourself! Our AMI Open House will be held October 18, beginning at 2:30pm with a potluck lunch. Bring all food ready to eat, as there is no kitchen to facilitate food preparation. Dress casual with walking shoes. Please bring your camp chairs along, if you have any, to add to the seating provided. After lunch, Pr. Kelly will share the story of AMI. Then everyone is free to wander the property on foot or take a tour via tractor and wagon. A bonfire will be available if you get chilly enough to need warming.  Guests are welcome to come and go, as able, from 2:30pm until sundown. GPS address: 8385 Edgewood Rd. Berrien Springs. We are eager to share God’s blessing with you! Pr. Kelly speaking at Blue Star Event, NASA Space Center, Oct 30-Nov 1 https://thewisdompearl.org/

How You Can Be a Part of AMI Today

Are you passionate about research? Do you have experience with gardening in SW Michigan? Or perhaps you’re someone who tends to think outside the box? AMI’s agricultural side is looking for your ideas for a cash crop that can be grown in SW Michigan. We are considering many options, such as elderberry–a native plant with immune-system-boosting properties and a rising market value. We value any suggestions or advice as we look to “grow” every part of this ministry.
