Do not be mere reflectors of other men's thought. | Pastor Ron Kelly

This sermon, anchored in the narrative of Acts Chapter 5 (Ananias and Sapphira, the apostles arrested and freed, and the church’s growth), challenges the congregation on two interconnected levels: personal stewardship/responsibility and theological humility/unity. Core Themes The Sanctuary and the Word (Introduction): The sermon begins by reflecting on a song about the Table of Showbread (a symbol of Christ, the Bread of Life, and the provision of God’s Word), setting the stage for the central idea: being “fed not with bread but by every word” (Matthew 4:4). This emphasizes the primacy of scriptural truth over mere physical or ritualistic nourishment.

How To Endure Until Death Do Us Part | Pastor Ron Kelly

Reflecting on 40 years of marriage, I’ve learned that true unity begins at home—your relationships will only rise as high as your conflict resolution skills. In John 17, Jesus prayed for His followers’ joy to be ‘complete,’ a joy that flows from Christ-centered unity. Too often, churches and families short-circuit this joy by worldly compromise or pride, like the ‘maggots’ I found working at a restaurant—hidden filth that ruins the whole. Real unity demands conversion: when we grasp what it cost Jesus to forever bear humanity’s scars, our marriages, churches, and witness transform. As Ellen White warned, marriage should deepen love, not bury it and the same applies to Christ’s family. Are you a fountain of His joy or a drain? Unity isn’t optional; it’s heaven’s prerequisite.

Many believe modern geopolitical Israel holds special prophetic significance, but Scripture reveals a deeper truth: God’s family extends beyond bloodlines to all who accept Christ. Starting in Revelation, we see the New Jerusalem’s gates bearing Israel’s tribal names—yet heaven’s invitation is for all who thirst for the water of life (Revelation 22:17).
